Our infrastructure is getting that third world look and our healthcare system has zero resilience in a pandemic. Funds are being diverted to build a useless — Potemkin village style — wall, while people are dying because of poor leadership and a spineless/callous (multi-)millionaire Congress that is unwilling/unable to stop the dangerously demented leader by using the power they have to do it.
(as a side light) It is very apparent that Trump has absolutely NO self respect, nor ANY faith in his ability to handle any situation, otherwise he would not bloviate and bluster so much and disparage anyone who says anything which is not worshipful of him. He finds that he MUST attack everyone who doesn’t praise him because he knows that what they are saying is true. A casebook example of a bully. He does not, in any way, understand the ter “bully pulpit” the way Teddy Roosevelt did.
The Trump Disciples don’t care about any of those — except the stock market, which equals the economy now that Obama is not in office. The economy itself, not so much.
Don’t forget the U.S. Constitution, it’s taken a battering since November 2016. PINO Trump’s still running on his platforms of xenophobia, nativism, and evangelical Chrisitianity being the bedrocks of the U.S.
As in the original Potemkin’s faux villages, these are meant to impress deceitfully. In this case, to impress MAGA the Great. This is a great editorial cartoon, literate and truthful, maybe worthy of another Pulitzer?

If the Trump admin had done what they were supposed to do in the first place instead of lying and blaming 90% of those people who died would still be alive.
The death count is growing higher as the Trump admin tries to force the country to reopen without testing.
This is one of the biggest disasters in the world, thanks to Republicans.
