Unless that caveman can work a rock hammer with the patience and determination of Andy Dufresne, think inventing the jackhammer will have to come first.

She might also want to wait for the invention of running water, toilets, and indoor plumbing while she’s at it. I’m guessing even they’d mind living in the equivalent of an outhouse.

I suppose the “media room” is where they’ll paint bison and stuff on the walls.

She’s going to want a bigger cave, with an attached 3 Flintstone car garage and a separate mother-in-law cave in back. All units come with natural granite counter tops in the kitchen

There’s got to be a cave just like that one out there in the big wide world somewhere. Just go and find it.

This is a cartoon, not a political forum. I enjoy reading comments but only if they pertain the subject at hand. How the heck did “drinking the beech” pertain at all to the cartoon? Please find another site to express your political opinions.

We had our bathroom remodeled recently. It had a mold issue and like other parts of the house, we are modifying it for “aging in place.” So you can now drive a motorized wheel chair in there and even into the shower!

However the original plans cost 1/4 of what the house is worth. The contractor said, “but it will add resale value to the house.” Even if that were true, our purpose was not the “flip” the house. Also I doubt that we’d recover the full price of the enhancement.

So we scaled back the plans from the palacial edifice he was proposing (something we did not want) to something more functional and knocked tens of thousands off the contract.

It’s amazing the things other people want to do with your money.

I like this floor plan. One can work in the kitchen and still talk to people in the living room. The study and media room are private areas for people who need quiet time.
