Couldn’t the artist complete the current story arc before beginning a new one?

I guess Tarzan and Betty lived happily ever after.

So Tarzan leads those brave warriors from that tribe into battle with the insectmen, gets them captured, and then leaves them there while he gets away scot-free with Betty? We’ve seen a couple story arcs like this before but it still doesn’t seem like something Tarzan would do.

Pack Betty off on the SS Lorraine and get her the heck out of Africa.

Wait. What does Tarzan do with her?

Author must have had an early tee time; gotta wrap up this story.

Well Betty, it was swell. See ya later!

Now that is the most abrupt ending I have ever seen; it was anti-climatic. So we never learn who the girl actually was, or the group she ran away from, or what actually happened to her. It would be nice to see how GWW brought her back, etc.

But it is what it is, I am looking forward to the new adventure.

And, finally we’re rid of that spoiled, brainless twit…..Betty Cole!

New adventure? What happens to the fair and heavenly Miss Betty?

We’re almost done with Betty, but first we have to meet Jacques Durand.

I’m still curious about why that tribe decided to make those elaborate bug masks and call themselves insect men. I guess I’ll never know.
