Mary Worth needs to turn her head around and mind her own damm business. It’s not like Adam’s talking on his cell phone or anything.

I wonder how much an ‘endless cup of coffee’ costs in that joint. I mean Adam must spend a lot of money there to get the ‘Star’ treatment.

The world conspires to reinforce his skewed outlook. It’s like watching Mr. Magoo in its way.

We eat lunch at a Wendy near us every day – Monday through Saturday unless we are away. When husband quit his job one of the things I explained to him was that it would not be vacation and we could not eat lunch out every day. It started out as lunch out on Fridays – we were already eating there on Saturdays and at Costco on Sundays. Then it went to Monday, Wednesday, Friday and then daily. He feels like he has some place to go. I have a junior burger plain, he has two regular and we get free senior sodas so lunch ran us US$3.33 – eating lunch at home was not much cheaper if cheaper at all. (Price raise now is $3.88 a day.) He also found out about their annual donate to their charity for foster children (was $1 went to $2) and get free children’s size Frostys when you buy something – all year. When we get there he orders and I get the table, napkins and such.

Twice a month he goes in alone as I go to work one of the days and my embroidery meeting the other. When he walks in they automatically make the order – then are confused when he only orders his. When he had a pain in his arm & back and I went in and bought the regular lunch and brought it home – the women at the counter were all worried about him.

(And Saturday night we go to a different Wendys for dinner. And we now go on Sunday to a different Wendys, near the Costco, we go to for lunch. And when we go to a quilt show, woodworking show, etc. out of our area we find a Wendys nearby so he feels at home.)
