When I was a kid we had a dog who loved digging things out of our neighbor’s compost pile. Most of the items were unidentifiable but she was ecstatic over her finds.
Quick as a wink, my little docile Terkel chased and grabbed a small field mouse. All I saw was the mouse’s tail hanging out her mouth as she munched away. Walking the fields I have to be steps ahead of her. She gets regular vet checks. Doctor said it is instinctive and not to worry.

Satchel reminds me of myself. I’m so clumsy that I have bumped into things which are not there…and I have the bruises to prove it!
