Get ‘em Louie - on behalf of all dogs!

Took mine for a walk on an unusually warm winter day. There were six squirrels chasing each other along the top of a fence, up a tree, down to the fence again. Thought Scout was going to go nuts.

I work in a lab, and a lot of times it’s pretty stinky too!

When squirrels chitter at me I’ve got a pretty good idea what they’re saying too.

But everyone here LOVES the mice. Louie might like to talk to scratch. he will actually go up that tree after them.

True story: our faithful Muffy several years ago go out ans we were worried until I looked out at our fifty foot oak tree in the front yard and saw her rushing a good twenty feet up the trunk chasing a squirrel.

Muffy didn’t have any front claws.

When she stopped, it was like she suddenly realized she she shouldn’t have made it that far and she slid slowly down the tree to the ground.

We still laugh at it, recalling our long passed friend.
