I’m calling it: they’re just sparkle-induced hallucinations.

The trolling is obvious, but consider that the comic after this is to be a Sunday strip.

Has LSP ever done this just to cover himself?

Well, it seems we’ve officially met Marigold’s mother and father.

When you get up in the morning and the light is hurt your head,

…the first thing you do when you get up out of bed,

…is hit that streets a-runnin’ and try to beat the masses,

…and go get yourself some cheap sunglasses!

Most of this can be explained as: UNICORN!

What a nice family!

Walt Kelly once was accused of being lazy by doing an arc of firefly jokes where every other panel was black. He countered by saying that he worked harder writing the jokes to fit the artwork. I’m just sayin’.
