Unfortunately, Nixon is the first prez I can really remember in my life, and he really was pretty awful. Nowadays, they say the TRUSSIA scandal is like Watergate but for stupid people. Yesterday’s election may be the start of something better ahead. We keep getting closer.
There is also violation of the emoluments clause, which involves not accepting gifts from a foreign government. In terms of Russia, there are many allegations, including oppositional research, which does have value.
I don’t believe anything in the constitution can be read to prohibit criminals from running for office, no matter how hard you try. However, it says that matters not included are left to the states. Probably, few states have written laws against convicted criminals running for office, believing that voters wouldn’t be stupid enough to let the situation develop anyway. So, possibly Trump will run as he is sitting in his prison cell. No doubt that he’s crazy enough, and I’m sure he would still get quite a few votes.

At this point, I would settle for the first one. At least he would defend us against the Russians.

Knew Nixon, dad worked with his brother. He was a little nuts, and a minor crook, Trump is totally nuts, and a total crook.

Trump supporters know that he is a “crook”. They don’t care what he does as long as he appoints the “correct” Supreme Court Judges, as needed.
