He was a good salesman. Came out of Naval Intelligence as did George Noory.

One night the power went out on the west coast, I listened to C to C on my little transistor headset, I thought the world was ending.

Rest In Peace, Art Bell.

Others criticized him for not going after the absurdities of his guests. He would tell them he is there to listen not argue. He was the one I listened too all night when I could. Missed not being able to when he was on Sirius XM.

Too bad Art didn’t go into politics. We need more listeners who don’t argue.

Mr. Alcaraz this is a beautiful depiction of where Mr Bell would like to be for his next life. I think he would like to join The Hitchhiker’s to the Stars and Beyond.

I don’t know how many hours I spent listening to him when I could, or should, have been sleeping.

I loved listening to the kooks on his show. And the frauds, charlatans, conspiracy nuts, etc, etc. Gave me a good laugh when I really needed it at times. Art was the ultimate talk show host with the smoothest manner and voice I’ve ever heard. You could tell he was laughing inside at some of the idiots. I will really really miss him. Godspeed Art Bell.

Oh and GREAT artwork today Lalo. Simple and beautiful. This is a keeper.
