Generally along the same lines as today’s “Dilbert” too. Being told to “take initiative” – (but do it my way and don’t make a mistake!) is in the same family as “give me your honest opinion” – (but only if it’s what I want to hear)! And we wonder why companies fail, have low morale, lack of retention, etc!
