The staff seemed capable, friendly and helpful, but their thermometer tasted funny.

The reporter who went out to take the temperature of the angry mob was never seen again, alive or dead.

The reviews are in! (Andrews McMeel’s second label has another write-off).

Sounds more like a scholarly paper published in the Journal of the Analogical Proctologists Association. (H/t John Barth. Thank you)

I may be an ass for saying this, but I ass-u-me Teresa’s adventure into euphemistic literature will be the butt of many comments … and so it goes.

Serious question, not sure if I’ll get an answer. Is Teresa EVER planning on releasing a book of “poetry comics”? I noticed that several cartoonists on this site self-publish, like Sungenis who does the Queen Victoria comic. Do his books sell enough to make it worth the trouble? I’d buy one of your books, Teresa, if that would help you to decide. And I’m not saying this out of pity. I think Rotifer was only half-kidding when he said a book of yours would be a write-off if published by the GoComics publishing people. That was just fun-loving joking. Except for the occasional troll, it’s all just affectionate play. Anyway, I hope you will think carefully about a book, and also about bringing back FROG BLOG. Thank you.

Admonish me all you like, but please, don’t take away your glass thermometers and silicone nozzles. I will gladly endure your penalizing poetry, lamely, lubriciously clysterizing my cares away.

Teresa doesn’t have a wiki article because there are no verifiable third-party sources available. When you don’t do interviews or shun away from people who write about the comics in newspapers, etc, there are no references to use. I’m not terribly knowledgeable about wikipedia, but I know that it’s not a place to self-promote or a place that allows original research. I think the Old Wolf is an editor for wikipedia so he might be able to explain it. I also think I made a mistake when I said that he is an editor. We are all editors, it’s just that some editors understand the guidelines and have more powers than others because they have proven to be unbiased, fair, understand grammar, and other good stuff that makes a good editor.

Glancing down to the bottom of this page (which I rarely do) I notice the Overlords are promoting a bunch of comics that seem to have been inspired by Frog Applause. Sister’s influence is waxing! So, publication-for-permanence seems in order. I am elated by the mock-up book-cover for a volume of Poetry Comics, and would be happy to buy it if its potency were actuated.

Meanwhile, in further response to OliveFoote, I would note that Once Upon a Time Sister had a presence on That Social Networking Site (for whose name I disdain to shill), but she deep-sixed that at the same time (+/-) the Frog Blog and other ancillaries were dropped. I suppose some personal concern prompted these moves toward greater privacy.
