What a load of bollocks.

When are WE going to grow up and take responsibility for our actions? Fairy tales are just in children’s books.

By faith, I affirm the existence of God. By faith, he denied it. He now knows the Truth. We all still operate by faith, not certain knowledge.

Not by faith, Hippogriff, by reason, its antithesis.

Shame on you, Breen! Foisting one’s own belief system onto another is the pinnacle of arrogance.

This is great theology! The chair and ramp represent the soul still chained to his earthly sin for lack of Faith. The ramp leads those who are under their own power away from Heaven’s Gate. (The only way to Heaven is to be carried up the Stairs by the Bridegroom.) But there is still a path from the top of the ramp to the Gate. God still has ways to save a soul at the last minute (although we can never presume He will). His mercy endures forever.

Steve’s reward is the entire universe not your puny religious end. His contribution to knowledge will live as long as humanity, our decedents and all as yet undiscovered intelligence exist. Try reading some of his works. Learn some science. The universe is too grand for a god.
