While I didn’t like the choice of Tillerson because of his long oil history, he is knowledgeable about international politics. Treaties are important and the treaty with Iran is working despite the lies from Repubs about it. Russian sanctions that were approved by Congress and signed by Trump should be implemented and Tillerson’s thoughts on the poisoning are probably correct. North Korea requires negotiation and diplomacy; something that Trump can’t handle. Pompeo wants wars which Trump thinks will help his legacy.
Trump came up with the idiocy that the US should have a “space force” because the US needs to be able to conduct wars from space. Just because this violated international treaties makes no difference to Trump.
It is going to take a long time for the US to regain the credibility that is being lost under Trump
