Funny that DC should start worrying about what the rest of the world thinks. I travel a lot internationally and, in every country I visited during the Trump administration, locals voiced their concerns about what was going on in our country that we would make such a monumental mistake as to elect that goon.
If some group forced people off their land because of the color of their skin, that would be racism. It’s no different for a religion. Crips / Bloods, etc. are criminal gangs. They do not force people in the areas they control to adhere to a specific set of beliefs on threat of punishment, they force them to stay silent and pay tribute on demand. They also do not drive non-gang members out of their territory, they leave them there and leech off of them. Only religion demands you accept a core set of beliefs or face expulsion or death. No matter how passive you are, the mere fact that you think differently is enough to qualify you as a threat.

We are always told it is about land, not religion, yet somehow it always ends up with two sides hating and killing the other based on their religion..
The fact that the people being murdered and tortured in the manner you describe were all of a religion different from the perpetrators that was condemned and hated by the said perpetrators was just coincidence?
