If they are not on board with President Trump, he has to make a change. Happens all the time in business and government agencies. He will keep shaping his team, one at a time, until he gets a group that will help him MAGA.
This is what the GOP wanted – Finally they have proof that the government can’t accomplish anything to the point of actually being dangerous. They have been warning us about this for years.
You know, it used to be the case that when adults saw little kids running with scissors, they took the scissors AWAY. (note to DENO: Are you saying that the PROVEN collusion by Donald Trump, Junior, Paul Manafort, and Jared Kushner was ONLY the “nefarious actions by underlings”? I mean, when you deliberately go to a meeting with deliberate agents of the Russian dictator, and you deliberately go there for a deliberate REASON, it kinda smaks of collusion, don’t ya think?)
The United States of America is incredibly resilient. A large percentage of our people never even wanted to be an independent nation.
A plurality wanted George Washington to be a king, keep slavery, secede from one another, exclude women and the poor from the vote, allow our democratic allies to be destroyed, keep segregation and discrimination legal, allow any workplace conditions – no matter how deadly – to go unregulated, and generally allow one set of official ‘standards’ for certain people and another for the rest.
We’ve come a long way, baby.
The wishes of these pluralities are well represented by our system of government via the Congress, the courts, and public freedom of speech.
That the American presidency should come to officially represent this is us ain’t happening – not now, not ever.
Each president is simply the temporary head of the administrative branch of our country, useful as a commander in times of war, defender of the Constitution, a public relations spokesperson, a proponent of legislative ideas, chief diplomat, and supposedly one who publicly sets a simple moral example for our kids.
This Trump character is bad news for his supporters, his detractors, our kids, and the whole world. Everybody knows it (whether they admit it or not). It’ll soon be over and America can get back to honestly negotiating our future, forming new majorities and pluralities as we go. Russia be damned – we’re gonna make it after all.

{Off the cartoon’s topic:}
WITH TROUBLES WE’RE FRAUGHT – {rhyme}
Who would ever have thought
that our nation would get so fraught
with troubles the Right has brought?
They’ve dragged our hopes to naught
that America can be what we’ve sought: -
- a place which the Rich haven’t bought,
and a culture which hasn’t been taught
values uncivil
by Rightwing drivel.

Be grateful. That means less deregulation and oversight since he’s too busy firing everybody.

Trump is too much of wimp to say YOUR FIRED! face-to-face. He tweeted to Tillerson.
