If I fall asleep reading I find there’s a stretch of about 3 pages where I got some bits and missed a lot of others.

There’s a difference between being superior and just feeling superior.

I fell asleep reading a hardcover novel. I woke up with a sore nose…

Why do folks waste time staring at the TV all evening, then reading in bed. What a dull life. We should have learned from reading bedtime books to our kids what a nodding-off adventure that is.

That’s the point. Two minutes of reading is better than a sleeping pill … instant slumber.

My wife was watching a show and fell asleep. She woke up and backed up the show to catch what she missed. Fell asleep, woke up, backed up, fell asleep, woke up, backed up, fell asleep, woke up, backed up, fell asleep, woke up, gave up, went to bed.

I have a sleep disorder. the first thing they tell you is the bedroom is for 2 things, sleep is one of them, the other is not reading or TV. Do not read or watch TV in bed they are the worst things you can do that interrupt your sleep pattern. It is way better to read something an hour or so before bed time in a chair in another room, then go to bed when you are sleepy.
