The “Future Lady Cubs of America” are worth their weight in cookies. I do enjoy freezing the thin mints and having them in the winter, with mocha. ;-)

There’s the “People-kittens” again! I think I’ll start calling my nephew and nieces that. :D

If you were around here today, you’d be wearing a scarf in April, too. We’re in the middle of a winter storm warning that started early Saturday morning and extends until Sunday evening. The temperature hasn’t been above freezing since Friday night, and there’s been snow, rain, sleet, hail, and 40 mph winds. And Friday it was over 60 degrees and sunny! Ahhh… Springtime in Michigan.

Just don’t show the boys the Caramel Catnip Samoas!

When I was a Girl Scout, the cookies cost 40¢ per box. Our local troop got to keep 5¢ out of every box we sold. We were each given a carton containing several boxes of each of the varieties. My dad didn’t want me going door to door, so he bought the whole carton. His favorites were the peanut butter sandwich cookies, mom’s were thin mints, and mine the Scot-teas.

I think Pucky has just fallen in love. The question is with the scarf or the “Future Lady Cub of America”?

Well Elvis, my boys would say happiness comes in tins but people often find it in boxes. Pucky’s in love and I adore the look between Lupin and the Toddler in the last panel – those two really seem to be on the same wavelength :)

I haven’t seen the girl scouts going door to door in quite a while. They set up tables in front of grocery stores, or their parents try to sell the cookies to friends. Of course, the future lady cubs may be different.

Good morning and happy Bunday, orbsters and orbabies! Paul was very tired and throat still very sore from the exploratory. His younger son called yesterday and he and his bride are expecting their first child. I’m going to be a busy knitter this summer!

My kids did 4-H….thinking of contacting them and suggesting a “Pet Fashion” curriculum. Meanwhile, just thought I’d mention my family’s motto is “Well, that escalated quickly!”

I love the look between Lupin and The Toddler in the last panel. Also, Puck and Elvis are true to form: Puck is fabulous and Elvis is skeptical!

Still no sign of the black kitten. I truly hope it had found, or returned to, a forever home! I will not post again about it unless I actually see it or hear about it. I pray all your kindness of heart has helped it! Bless you all! >^.,.^<

I have noticed, no matter how many Thin Mints I eat… I never get any thinner!

Today’s comic brought tears to my eyes! I know animal care is taught in (probably all) youth organizations. All the more reason to encourage participation & volunteerism in these groups. We need more youth joining them. It gets them out in the world and their noses out of their devices!
