The last MS OS Win 10 disk I got had the code under a scratch off layer and the numbers were microscopic. When I rubbed off the layer, I rubbed parts of the numbers off too. I had a 10X loupe and needed it to figure out what the stupid code was. MS people must sit back and laugh and laugh every day.

On yeah. The one with letters and numerals where the S’s and 5’s and I’s and 1’s and B’s and 8’s look just alike and two hyphens for you to figure out if they are included or not? That serial number?

Don’t forget the capital O and 0s. Then there’s always s/n and the part numbers that on a laptop have worn off by use

Ye gods, what a klutz. Hang up, get the number from the paperwork that you properly filed away and then call back. And get off your knees, you look silly.
