Did they remove his foot from his mouth before the funeral, or just keep it a closed-casket service?

I notice that “She” was not attending. Detained at the government’s pleasure, perhaps. Or perhaps not if the judge was a woman and sympathetic.

That’s gotta be near the top of the list of “famous last words”.

As a man, I learned very quickly to wait patiently until somebody (usually the husband/partner or a friend of the lady) tells me the “good news”. I assume otherwise for conversation’s sake, even if my mind tells me differently.

Dave Barry says that the proper time to ask a woman if she’s pregnant…is when you can see the baby crowning.

Considering the apparent ages of the mourners, if the deceased was their age and the woman also was, then suggesting pregnancy could have been a double insult and worthy of a shot of some kind – bullet or scotch comes to mind.

This is a nasty cartoon. I see no relevance to it and of all things a snide attack on motherhood, women, and children. The author should have had his head pinched off by his mother. Oh, you say it was; that explains all.

    More coffee… need more coffee… so confused…

So the person in the ground isn’t the non-pregnant person, but the one that asked the question and raised the ire of the said non-pregnant person?

So how soon is the baby due? So when is the baby due? So how soon is the baby’s birth?

Come with me to Walmart sometime, it is filled with men and women and some that I am not sure which, who are 13 months pregnant with triplets.

This cartoon just reminded me of a friend I lost. She looked pregnant and people thought she was. She wasn’t. She had a large tumour in her cervix which she didn’t catch quickly enough. The cancer killed her. She was only 23 years old. 20 years later I still miss her. R.I.P Amy.

I jokingly asked a guy at work “Is it a boy or a girl?” After a slightly delayed reaction, he said, “It’s an elephant. Look, it’s trunk is already sticking out.”

Upon further review, the caption should have read, “Long story short, the woman he was talking to wasn’t pregnant”. Sorry for the confusion in the attempt to keep it brief.

It was at one of those office parties, where you see long-lost people from accounting. Four of the middle-age girls were circling the happy rosy one, so I gladly offered my congratulations on the baby.Never was death both so instantaneous and ferocious.

I knew someone who was kicked out of high school for pregnancy even though she was a virgin. By the time anyone decided to believe her (after a baby should have been born) the uterine tumor that made her swell was way too large to save her uterus.

Don’t remind me. I did that, and the non pregnant one was so sweet and just said that was where she carried her weight. I felt so awful and probably over apologized.

I worked at Disneyland when I was a college kid in the 60’s. Pregnant women were not allowed on the Autopia because the cars smacked into each other roughly. It was also the time of the Mumu. So hard to tell if someone was pregnant or or just over weight. Lot’s of angry women after they heard the question.
