It’s been twenty months since I quit. It’s worth the withdrawal pains. From what I hear FB has gotten meaner since then and the unblinking Zuckerberg has made it more invasive and addictive. Not to mention the whole Russian thing.
I was on Facebook for perhaps a week or two. I realized it was taking too much time away from things I would rather be doing, so I quit. That was several years ago, and I’ve never regretted it – particularly when I see people who can’t carry on a decent conversation because they need to keep checking their phone!
Well, I almost am not on FB. I resisted until a product I own established their support center on FB, excluding all non-FB users. So I have an ID without any personal info attached, and yet I still get strangers asking me to like them.
I use FB to advertise my eBay store, to get business advice from established, successful resellers, and to keep up with a friend who can’t seem to keep the same phone number for more than 3 months. I check it once a day. No problem!

I’m still hooked onto Facebook since either 2006 or ’07.

Best way to break a bad habit is to never start. I’m holding out from Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc for as long as I can!

I get caught up on FB using my phone while I’m taking a dump.
