Sarah Vowell’s book, “Unfamiliar Fishes”, is an interesting, and heart-breaking, look at the havoc wrought on Hawaii’s monarchy, culture, population, and natural resources by America’s business/government entities.
I completely forgot about the Mexican War and the all the Indian wars. I guess there is something hardwired into us that makes us so despicable, maybe it is exceptionalism.
