What a dog hears: “arf,”arf,“arf,”arf,“arf,”. What a cat hears: " ".

I wonder why my cat stares at me to.

I always thought it meant “Feed Me!!”

When we had a cat I always thought it meant one of two things:

1. Let’s play that awesome laser pointer game again, or

2. Oh man, I’m losing it. I need some catnip, and I need it now.

My cat steals the seat when I get up.

“Dogs have owners. Cats have staff.” Who said that I don’t know, but it’s certainly true.

Around here it usually means “Are you REALLY going to eat that last bite yourself?”

Just like a baby staring at you.

Our cat sat on one side of the built-in dinette and I sat on the other with my dinner. Could see her brain working to figure out fastest route to my dinner plate. As soon as one paw went up toward the table, I said “No!” and down she went to come across the floor.
