Seeing as how the results were about 51/49, I’d say this cartoon is grossly overstating what happened. Though I suppose I should be grateful the right wing nut jobs of the not so great state of Alabama give me a good reminder why I’m so glad to not live in the South. Lincoln was wrong. We should have let the South secede. The rest of us would have been better off today.
Moore on that horse reminded me of Inhofe years ago riding a horse around the town square during a celebration. He either did not know how to ride, had a young horse not use to being ridden or a horse that did not want Inhofe on it. Inhofe did not have control of the horse an came close several time to trampling men, women and mostly children in the crowd. He galloped that horse all over the square with a male aid jogging and running beside him. Quite a sight.
