They might have damaged themselves in the crossfire more than necessary.

meanwhile the GOP is handing out guns to their criminals, while having the firing squad line up against the wall.

The Democrats have taken out an excellent Senator, without Franken, Sessions would be in charge of the Russia investigation right now. But he also was grabby with women in photos and meet and greets. IF this is the new baseline, there are a lot more who should go. From the janitor to the drunken, grabby president.

Confusing: Democratic party punishes transgressors and the Theocratic party (GOP) forgives theirs and attacks the accusers …

He immediately confessed his sins, asked forgiveness and was given it by his accuser and was still ousted by his own party. The self-admitted sexual offender and pedophile lover in the White house on the other hand is still in office. Go figure.

And will these same women demand Trump’s resignation, or Pence’s for enabling him, or Clarence Thomas’ long overdue retirement, or Newt’s shame, or Hastert’s indictment? No, because the GOP is party that predicted once trans were allowed to use the bathroom, pedophiles would be accepted. Who knew they were predicting their own future?

Next election when that Senate seat is taken by a well financed Republican there will be a lot of whining. The lady appointed to fill that seat is very competent but will probably fail in her election bid helping keep the Senate red for the foreseeable future. Not sure how all of this actually helps women.

Franken did not make any friends at the DNC, so he was given the heave-ho.

I’d still like an investigation to be carried out even though Franken has resigned. Somehow it seems too convenient that a man who instigates bills for women rights issues and supports women’s rights bills in Congress is being accused about situations he doesn’t remember the same actions as the accusers are stating. Then after reading about that set up accusation against Roy Moore that seemed to be a Project Veritas scheme to discredit The Washington Post, makes me suspicious that a lot of these accusations against Democratic senators with good reputations might just be paid for in advance to discredit the Dems. Maybe that’s just me, but it does make me suspicious. It just seems too pat. Since the Republicans don’t have the same moral issues with sexual harassment and wouldn’t resign under any condition, but they know that Democrats have values and morals and would resign if pushed by accusations of immorality. I think Congress should investigate all accusations of sexual harassment against any member of Congress. Again, maybe it’s just me, but due process of law should be a priority.

Some posters don’t understand “circular firing squad”.
