Paul Ryan as much as admitted that they have to slash social programs to cover the tax cuts for the rich.

A fantastic win for the wealthy and, revenge against the Democrats in their war against education and social services, even if it affects some of their base in the geographical regions targeted by eliminating deductions. While the bill seems thrown together you can readily identify the long term planning elements incorporated to negatively affect progressive goals. The wealthy assure the politicians a comfortable way of life that the voters are unable to, so they (the wealthy) must be taken care of as a priority.

“And if slashing the safety net affects minorities more than it affects our kind, we’ve hit the trifecta!”

Tax bill isn’t law yet. The government may shut down due to Republican greed and incompetence.

When you think that this is only part of the agenda being put in place to destroy our country as a whole, the rest of the agenda is taking place within the government by cutting personnel and budget in the Departments that control regulations for the safety and protection of the American public and programs for promoting the humane welfare of the people of this country. They’ve already said they’re going to cut Medicare and Social Security. Why not just pull out a gun and shoot us. Medicare and Social Security were insurance payments that every working person in this country paid into for their retirement. If they steal that money to pay for the tax money that they’re going to give to the elite 1%, then they are no better than thieves.

Mr. Pett, another wonderful panel today. Thank you so much for stating with your pictures the truly horrendous things that these politicians are doing to the American people.

^ Boy, I agree, CDHP. I mean, what is the world coming to when personal health and well-being have become a “lifestyle of choice”?

CDHPC2, We do not know, that problem has not presented itself.

Might you be referring to all the people being incarcerated? Other countries are implementing programs that are rehabilitating people and preparing them to re-enter their society.

Ya, CD. I know what you mean. I get on a city bus and there they are the dead beats: Veterans missing a leg, fearfully on guard or other symptoms of PTSD, schizophrenics rocking back and forth talking to god or some other imaginable being, the people twitching, drooling crumpled into a wheelchair, a young person with microscopically or other neurological defect being escorted by a mother, a street preacher, wild eyed pounding a Bible, warning that the rapture will commence next Thursday afternoon.

Most people would rather work than be dependent upon a greedy and uncaring Republican government. Where are all the “jobs jobs jobs” the Republicans promised and never delivered? Where is the infrastructure repair?

Blocking a Supreme Court seat is a huge win for them. Winning by Electoral College is a huge win for them. Electing a pedophile is a huge win for them. A tax plan that raises taxes on the Middle Class, lowers taxes for the rich and slashes programs for the poor is a win for them. Making America last, for some reason, is a win for the new republican party.
