It would be better for the nation if we had much less hubris in positions of authority. There are issues that require humility and the ability to say things like “I sorry, that was a mistake” and “I don’t know the answer … I’ll ask someone who does”. The public deserves representatives and media people who do not think of themselves as self-serving nobility demanding blind obedience to their “great” ideas but as public servants will to listen and provide unbiased pragmatic results for all the public.
Just so we don’t equate Garrison Keillor’s act with Bill Cosby’s. Some of this seems like it’s being politically exploited by the right wing strategists.
Frankly, at this point, I’m begging to wonder how true all of this is. Yes, yes, I know some if it is absolutely true, but how many folks remember the hoo-ha back in the mid-60s when day care centers left and right were being accused of sexually abusing toddlers and children? A lot of people were ruined and centers shut down, and then it was discovered most of it never happened.
How many allegations are false flags taking advantage of the current situations? Some of these are highly suspect. Others are being opposed because they were not reported in the past when the accuser was more suspect then the accused.
If these pig men would keep their hands to themselves the shoes will stop. If we hire men who will respect other’s bodies, the shoes will stop. If we replace these dirtballs with women, the shoes will stop

.The Republicans have said that they really don’t like this tax bill, but they seem willing to vote for it. The Dems SHOULD all be voting against this bill, but Repubs should too. CEOs said they would pay down debt, buy back stock, automate and initiate more mergers – DECREASING jobs. Eliminating the estate tax ($5M each per person in estate) and the AMT will just increase income inequality. The only deductions being eliminated are teachers can’t deduct supplies they buy for students, medical deductions, student loan deductions, and state and property tax deductions (the last aimed at blue states). Corps can still deduct office supplies AND buying a corporate plane.
Okay everyone. One side is not better or worse than the other. This is NOT a political thing. Please stop using precious energy pointing fingers. This happens with all political parties, races, backgrounds, etc. This happens to men and women. This is a HUMAN problem. Use your energy on that. Namaste
