Since Peppermint Patty (who is supposed to live on “the other side of town”) saw them in front of her house, and they spent the night in a strange nest, and ate at a diner, . . . Snoopy and Woodstock basically must have walked in a big circle.

But he did miss Veterans Day at Bill Mauldin’s house quaffing root beer.

Thanks for making me feel better. Our Secret Santa is a £5 limit so I hope people don’t get the wrong idea of me for not participating because it’s not expensive. I doubt it because I couldn’t ask for better colleagues. They are a real pleasure to work with. And I haven’t just bought cheap cards. I got traditional ones with paintings on. Here they are:

I’ve read awful stories about people with tight budgets or going through financial difficulties being guilt tripped into participating to Secret Santa and it sickens me. Maybe I’m just being too sensitive.

I went to the Christmas Market today and it was lovely! I enjoyed looking around the stalls. I put some photos on Facebook. The one where I need to get 2 trains to go there is being held next Friday. Speaking of trains, I’m going on another long train journey tomorrow. I wish you could join me.

I hope your Dad had a wonderful birthday and that you all enjoyed your dinner. I suppose you had too much to drink again? Haha!

I am now off work for a week! Well, I’m not at work on Friday anyway so my week off really began yesterday.

There might not have been too many NHL teams down south – Atlanta moved to Calgary – but there would’ve been some level of ice hockey down there. Woodstock and Snoopy just would’ve had more difficulty finding an open “rink”.
