Hobby Lobby Religious rightists never think those rules were meant for them. Those 10 commandments are for the poor. Stealing is fine, as long as it isn’t from a rich white guy. Besides, their 10 commandments are more about giving birth control to the poor and checking people’s privates in the bathroom. They don’t worry about stealing and killing.
And most of the highly overpriced crap in a Hobby Lobby is imported from China, India, and Bangladesh as well as other sweat-shop countries, so that’s just ANOTHER REASON to never set foot in one. Not to mention the fact that they are a bunch of thieving, lying, Christaliban-backing HYPOCRITES!!
I’ve alway thought that the “Haves” invented religions to show the “Have-naughts” that things would be reversed in the (trust us, it’s real) afterlife, so don’t worry about the seeming inequities in the finite here and now and put down those pitchforks.
SUPERPOSITION, I think there is even more to it than income disparity. Religion has been used to create an “us versus them” dynamic which gets the people to believe in a cause. Look at the use of fear of terrorism blamed on all Muslims to get the American people to go along with the Patriot Act and an endless “war on terror”. Far too many people support at least a limited ban as Trump wants even though the countries in question have NOT sent terrorists to the US; but Saudi Arabia has sent and supported terrorists.
Is Hobby Lobby also among the evangelicals who think Russia is great, and Putin is greater? Hmm, about that aethist thing in Russia? Chees these guys are too much.
