Iran just had an election that the moderates won by a landslide. Yes, the hardliners in the Revolutionary Guard & the Supreme Council want to undermine our influence & would love to see the Israeli government be replaced by an Islamic one. On one side, they are helping fight ISIS in Iraq, but they’re also backing Assad. Selling the Saudis billions of dollars in weaponry to kill Shi’ites in Yemen doesn’t help bring peace.
We’ve always been in Israel’s corner, but they’ve proven more than capable of defending themselves. Pretending that Iran is somehow the Goliath menacing little Israel is totally ridiculous.
Israel has nukes but refuses to sign the Non-Proliferation Pact. They built a wall to encroach on Palestinians territory and hurt their economy and not allow Palestinians to work and shop freely. The sizes of Iran and Israel should be reversed.
As long as the US keeps supplying the Israelis with weapons they’ll do as they please, thank you, and any real “peace initiatives” will be dead on arrival.
