The Mummy was always too wrapped up in himself.
The Wolfman was a real dog.
The Creature from the Black Lagoon was all wet.
The one exception was the Fly. The Fly was always open.
“The Beast with a Million Eyes” – “I’m up here, mister!”
Doc Oc – “He’s all hands!”
“Adam” as he was called in the novel wasn’t an oaf. He didn’t take his creator dissing him well.
The vampire was all smooth and suave but sucks the life out of you in the end.
This is one of my favorite BI strips, partly for being in a rare miniseries.
