I think I’m making the world a better place every time I kill a rodent.

When I’m checking out, I put in a divider there out of habit whether someone comes behind me or not (just in case).

You have to think it through, Rat. If the guy in front of you didn’t put a divider down, put your stuff there and maybe he’ll pay for it.

Rat, if you really want to make the world a better place, clobber the cashier who hides all but one of the dividers.

The false dilemma of either/or. I do both/and in this case, unless the people before or behind me have already done.

I, and others, put it behind to be polite to the next person. You put it in front for the rats that can’t bothered to be polite.

I am one of those that start loading groceries onto the belt, as I am doing so the person in front of me has time to put the divider down, and I then thank said person for being nice enough to do so. If you express common courtesy, it doesn’t matter who puts what where, just say thank you, and get on with the rest of your day.

What about if the person behind you turns out to be an attractive member of the opposite sex? Ponder that, Rat!

Common sense tells you to put the divider at the end so the next person will know you are finished.

The answer didn’t matter. Rat woulda hit him for putting it either way.

Why not put one in front of your groceries AND behind them? Wouldn’t kill a person.

Ever try buying a divider? It’s impossible.

Both are right.

Now do the over/under on TP. Hint, the correct answer is “over”.

I put one in front and one in back, even if there are already dividers there. Before I go to the checkout aisle, I cruise the unmanned aisles to pick up spare dividers. If I can collect several, I build a wall, because you never know about who’s before or behind you in line.

It all depends. If you’re the last one in the line, you put it between your order and that of the customer in front of you (sometimes the cashier will do that for you). And you put it at the end of your order if someone should come up behind you in line.

Whatever Goat said, Rat would take the opposite view and hit him.

In panel 2, it looks like Paris is calling Rat an appropriate name.

It depends on what the person in front of you did. If they put it in front then you have to in order to keep your food separate. If they put it behind, then you do too so don’t have to pay for the dude behind you.

The unsubstantiated allegation in today’s Frog Applause about Cartoon-Boy’s incontinence is something not to be overlooked, especially not under ultraviolet lighting! What do you have to say for yourself, Diaper-Boy?

I like Rat’s direct action solving of problems. The troubling thing is that he’s wrong today! (Puts on helmet, then ducks.)

I had never noticed anyone putting down a divider after their purchases around here. The first time I’d heard of it was a piece written by a gentleman out of Buffalo, NY. and I thought it sounded like a good idea if there are people in line behind me. I try to do that every time now.

Better world? Just call Weyland-Yutani Corp.

Everyone should put the divider in the back. Duh! Then everyone won’t have a problem.
