Lupin: Delicious smells are coming in from the kitchen. Elvis? Elvis: Thanks, Lupin. Elvis here, overseeing all of the feast preparations in the kitchen. I am vital to this process. Woman: Elvis, get down. Puck: Puck here standing by in case any taste testing is needed. Ooh... that looks scrumptious . That looks good too. Man: C'mon Puck, off the table. Puck: But I was born for this! Lupin: This just in: A city is being attacked by giant animals on tv! Elvis: The feast centers around an enormous chickadee- Woman: ELVIS GET OFF THE STOVE! Lupin: Now the city is being attacked by a bunch of Broadway performers. I don't understand this invasion. Puck: What is this delicacy? Elvis: All because one brave cat stood by the kitchen. Puck: This just in: The people gave us turkey! Lupin: Reports confirm, it's delicious! Elvis: It was nothing, really.

Love the expression on Toddler’s face in panel 11. And in the same, Lupin’s seated position is priceless—as is Elvis’s entire ‘indispensible’ schtick.

Too, the “Delete” button is gone. Replaced by a hidden-on-the-right-side icon of a garbage pail. You have to move your mouse around to find it.

My SIL the small animal vet HATES the Friday after Thanksgiving because of so many pets being brought in from being poisoned by too much turkey and other food hazards from the day before.

Well, it’s not ham, mind you, but still….

Couple of days ago I had a relleno stuffed with humongous shrimp. When I reached the stage where there was nothing left on the plate but the stem of the chile, I couldn’t help thinking about Yang (1969-85) who loved chile relleno stems, and how Mom would always bring them home for him from the restaurant where she worked.
