but here our pond hockey tournaments were cancelled so I guess global warming is back on? Or is it that you are confusing weather with climate again?

I’m convinced conservatives only understand the world through their direct experience. If they have never experienced racism it does not exist (they are white), if it’s snowing outside global warming does not exist; if they carry a gun it means they are constantly under threat from the ‘terrorists’. Weird.

My daughter in New Zealand, it’s summer there, reports they’re getting much hotter temperatures than “normal”. Sorry that winter still comes for us at this time, but this is the first year we’ve had noticeable snow in four years, and we need it desperately, and the cold to make those apples reproduce in Washington state, and kill forest bugs across the west, where damage has been extreme because of warmer winters; it ain’t just about snow.

If folks had bothered to even read a summary of the paper, they would know some places warmer, some colder, some wetter, some drier. Over 1200 papers agree it is happening, 2 don’t, the lead denier turns out to have taken over $250,000 from oil/gas sources.

30 years ago it was not uncommon to have a white Halloween. These days it doesn’t get cold enough to snow until around Christmas time.

On the subject of weather change.There is an old saying that is still so very true.-There are none so blind as those that will not see.

Hmmm, yet people were swimming Christmas Day in the Sunapee region of New Hampshire, and the lake still hasn’t frozen over.
