Still, I worked with a young woman who looked ill. She couldn’t have anything but an almost emaciated figure, because she inherited it from her mom (according to her). Saw her over 10 years later, and she looked about the same. Don’t know what a nutritionist and proper exercise would have done for her, or even if she’d ever availed herself of those resources, but I always felt a bit sorry for her. She wasn’t slender. She was fragile. And from everything I could tell when I worked with her, she had no eating disorder. (I had. So I watched her very carefully.) No energy. No strength. No fun. She had great eyes, though! ;-)
Normally the shotgun wedding is before the birth, not after. Unless the father was on deployment or otherwise unavailable. And a helpless child, who is not responsible for their creation (yet pretty much every insult for males is a reference to his mother because no one was blaming the father for her getting pregnant) should never be called “illegitimate”

When I was 15, I could eat 6 full meals a day. I needed them. I grew 9 inches in 9 months.
If I did that now, I’d grow 9 inches in 9 months – along my diameter.
