I agree. I thought many of the dresses were insipid. Artsy designers making a bundle. It is supposed to be about art and excellence in music and what do we get, fireworks, lasers, smoke, crazy outfits and half dressed people jumping around the stage.

“….at least 73 dead and thousands injured. In other news, a squirrel got his head caught in a jar; videos after the break….”

Good thing for you that none of the Fox talking heads was pilloried for continuously spreading the lie about “no-go zones” in several European countries. As long as they are demonstrably not liberal, lies are okay, evidently. Good to know.

    I live in North Carolina.

Dean Smith (former North Carolina basketball coach) died the other day. It’s newsworthy. However, according to the local news, nothing else has happened in the state or the rest of he world in the last three days.

The governor ordered flags to be flown at half mast.

Yup, we got our priorities straight.

What’s the difference between Walter Mitty and Brian Williams?

One is a delusional person with an inflated sense of self and no concept of reality.

The other is a fictional character.

They don’t call him Lyin’ Brian for no reason.

One of the stupid aspects of society – wasting too much time watching lame meaningless content.

Republicans and Tea Party supporters either don’t know/care that Fox News legally obtained the right to lie to their viewers. Talk about idiots! I bet none of you RWers have the guts to Google it. Of course you’d have to be brave to do that! Also explains how Fox News viewers have lower IQs, than other news network followers.

The issue isn’t politics. Mr. Williams went to a lot of time and trouble to gain the trust of the American people and then started lying for his own self interest. I don’t feel any sympathy or pity for him; he dug his own hole.

My goodness, such hatred and bile. Try swallowing. But as a matter of truth, Bill Reilly has been shown through documentation to lie constantly about his claim to have served in the military, and about any “news” he reports without any comment, much less one like yours. You may be confusing his record with the one lie by Brian Williams

I enjoy the comic strips. The comments afterward often tip toward “Left/Right or Liberal/Conservative” comments that make me not so pleased to see what people thought. Maybe we all could stick to Funny/Not funny. Pleeezzzzeeeee!
