Don’t you dasn’t ever change brands!

Bad things happen when the people mess with the cats’ food!

That’ll teach you!

Cats do seem to have a way of getting their point across.

Our cats get tired of their food halfway through the bag.

I assume the bowl’s on the counter because the dog’s on the floor.

Love that Puck is swiping at the bag!

I like that they are complaining about a bag that isn’t even open.

I switched dry food and blended the new food with the old. The cat ate some of the old, tried one of the new, tried another, and then used his claw to pick the old food out of his dish and throw it on the floor.

This is serious; I can’t recall ever seeing Lupin look angry before!

I change food often, but the kitties don’t see the bags. the first scoop of new food id either gobbled down like it’s a treat or they don’t eat as much and complain until I get something better to mix with the offending flavor!

This one is too funny-such great drawings! Are those pancakes or steering wheels? Is the food so tasteless they can’t tell what it is with out the shapes to tell them?

My vet told me it’s hard on the digestion to change food suddenly, especially without blending over. All cats are different, I suppose, and some can handle it better than others, but still. Something to consider in the future, especially should digestive or intestinal problems crop up as an aftermath!

That’s what those people get when they try to buy the cheap stuff. The only thing that will get their attention is for that cheap kibble to be eaten and then left on the pillow with a few hairballs. They’ll get the message.

I am still laughing… exactly what my cat would do under similar circumstances… oh wait… he just did… aaaaargh…

One of my cats fancies himself a food critic whose sensitive taste buds cause him to reject the same type of food he ate the day before. Trying to feed him, especially supper, always involves a lot of guesswork – and sometimes a different can.

I’m so glad my cat isn’t finicky. She’ll eat whatever I put in front of her. I hope she shows the same attitude to the new litter box system I recently bought and is waiting to be used after the old one starts to use up the cat litter. Got tired of the clumping litter being so dusty and her tracking it around. Switching to a set up, which is two level, uses pellets and a pad. No more litter to vacuum up.

i have to feed 1 cat special kidney food and the vet switched from one brand to another. i mixed both and she very carefully picked the old one out, ate it, and left the rest. after going thru this for almost the whole bag, i found that a different vet carried the old brand,would sell it to me, a bit cheaper at that, and i now have a healthy and happy cat. not to mention that she has me very well “trained” to her habits and likes.

The Empress of our household used to get a lot of a particular brand of dry food, as well as home cooked chicken and veg. We found too much dry wasn’t good for her, and switched to a mix of tinned, fresh home made, and a little bit of various types of dry. Then the other day I bought a bag of the original type. As soon as she saw the bag she demanded some.

Comfort food. It’s the food she had when she was a kitten.

cats stick to what they like

we gave ours 2 different brands mixed in 1 plate ….he only ate one of them we looked him eat and he picked up the ones he wanted to eat with his paw !

My cats either eat Science Diet or Iams. Recently I have been reading research being done at UC Davis that feeding them only dry food is not good for them. Also leaving food out in a self feeder (which I do) isn’t good either. In the wild a cat will kill and eat maybe only once a day, they don’t graze and they get most of the water they need from their food. They’re recommending wet food a couple times a day as dry food contributes to kidney failure. Most of my kitties have died from kidney failure at around age 15-17. Has anyone else heard of this study?

Puck: Are these pancakes? …Or are they steering wheels?

Lupin: Puck, can you confirm reports that the new kibble tastes like betrayal?

Puck: Yes. [Swipe! Swipe!]

Elvis: Lupin, I’m live at the scene where someone has thrown up in all of the People’s shoes.

Between the “betrayal” line and the … gift … in the shoes, this one made me laugh. Fun.
