A saddlebag would solve the problem. Phoebe could keep her stuff in it too (her phone, for example.)

But it is worth noting that Phoebe never ASKED Marigold to help her, Marigold VOLUNTEERED her help and kind of went ahead and did it regardless of whether or not it was okay for her to with everybody else. Thus I argue that Marigold hadn’t thought of that possibility of her doing “all the work” beforehand and was instead just trying to be a good friend by helping…the unicorn way.
