One thing I really didn’t care for in Cathy. Her “my family is wonderful and balanced, Irving family is crazy and unlikeable”, but that usually is the way it falls out.
Missing my Mom at Thanksgiving this year too, as she’s still in Indiana while I’m in my new home in Georgia. But I’ve already talked to her today and she’s doing well. She misses us but is spending the day with her sister, nieces and nephews so I don’t have to worry that she’s home all alone with no one but herself for company on this particular day. However, we’re planning on traveling back to Indiana next month for Christmas and, of course, the 2018 holiday season will be a better one because we’ll have our downstairs level finished well before then and she’ll be living here with us by next Thanksgiving for sure.

Hello and Happy Thursday/Thanksgiving to all my friends here on “Cathy’s Corner.” Hope everyone had a really nice day today no matter how you spent it and I just want you to know that on this day of giving thanks for all the blessings in my life, I’m most definitely grateful for all of YOU! :-)

I finally get caught up after the last trip and the recital last weekend only to leave again. Tomorrow we start heading south to join with my daughters and then on to Disney World. Have to make sure Mickey and Minnie made it through the hurricane season – and get ourselves into the Christmas spirit as well. I will wave to Gretchen’s Mom and Lightenup as we fly over Georgia.
