Money is power and absolute power corrupts absolutely. What happened to the idea that it wasn’t necessary for a company to sell ALL of one type of product, but to sell enough to cover costs and give everyone a good living wage? When did stockholders put the value of their dividends so far above the needs of the employees who make those dividends possible? When did CEOs begin earning salaries and bonuses so high as to cut deeply into the compensation of workers as well as the dividends of shareholders?Capitalism is a very good method of exchanging services, but currency trading and hypertrades as well as other manipulations are hurting everybody. Even those who are currently benefiting will one day have to face the results of their greed. Greed is NOT good. Innovation, invention, safety, and a secure working class IS good.Respectfully,& Happy Holidayze.C.

Yep. Moms on food stamps, dads on unemployment, gramps on disability………it’s a way of life.Mom’s on food stamps because her minimum wage job as a Walmart cashier doesn’t make ends meet. Dad’s still on unemployment because most of the manufacturing facilities in town moved to China. Gramps is on disability because of land mine that blew of 2 limbs and damaged a third back in ’Nam. Yup, it certainly is the Republican way of life.

Not a real problem as your posts are generally well though out. Something that those of us that are neither too liberal nor too conservative can well appreciate!

You think of your parents as your masters? What kind of family life did you have?
