We had a roleplaying exercise for managers at work as part of anti-discrimination training. I was given the role of a minority person with a discrimination complaint. Another manager got the role of “boss”. His task was to resolve the case following the rules of HR in a face to face meeting. I really put my heart into my role…..I put a big chip on my shoulder. I had so much fun yanking him around with anger statements, trigger words, cursing and as many examples of violations that I could make up. That poor guy never forgave me for putting his though that. But I am sure I had made him a better manager………
