Defenders of the War-that-happens-to-be-in-Iraq* say it isn't another Vietnam. (Man: Vietnam is in southeast Asia. Iraq is in the Middle East, several time zones away. (*Please, someone, name this thing!) Indeed, we're losing 2 soldiers a day in Iraq- as opposed to 14 in Vietnam. (Man 2: That's what you get when you volunteer!) On the other hand, we're killing 44 innocent civilians in Iraq every day.* (*source: Iraq war body count website as calculated by Robert Dobbs.) Saddam Hussein only killed 36 Iraqis a day during his 23 years in power.* (*300,000 deaths divided by 8,400 days) So Iraq is just 1/7th of Vietnam.... But George W. Bush is 120% of Saddam Hussein. (George Bush: I can live with that.) (Man: Bully for you.)
