Real Life Adventures by Gary Wise and Lance Aldrich for January 04, 1998
Transcript:
Wife: So tell me, did we have fun? Husband: I'm not sure. We'll have to check the videotape. No one knows why we do it. Who can explain such a rite? Why do we feel such a need to get stupid New Year's Eve night? Why do we dive through the chip dip? What drives us to sing "Auld Lang Syne"? Is it normal to sleep 'neath the coats under the infulence of beer mixed with wine? Is it some dark primal call that drives us to shoot out the lights, when the last and the first of the year crash together at the stroke of midnight? But we'll do it all over next year, even tho' last year we were heard to exclaim, "Please just keep me alive New Year's morning, and I'll never do it again."
