I play in several local groups, and teach lots of private students. I was mom to Mippy, our miracle cat who sadly went to the Rainbow Bridge 1/25/21. But I'm now mom to Iggy and Punto, adopted 1/22/22. My husband was a retired musician, recently passed due to complications from Alzheimer's.

I recently lost my husband to complications from Alzheimer’s. Several years after he was diagnosed, he lost the ability to follow conversations, especially listening to other people converse, such as on TV programs or in gatherings. When he lost the ability to process these things, he would often fall asleep at inappropriate times and places. Not unlike TFG falling asleep during the court proceedings.

Good luck with your home-care situation. When we had home care for my husband, we had one woman who was very good with him, but had a chip on her shoulder about the company she worked for. She eventually quit, and the replacements were sometimes very good, and sometimes less so, none really bad except one (the one who managed to break the door on the bathroom closet!). We requested that she never come back.
