  4. over 13 years ago on Candorville

A house divided against itself cannot stand; true then as now. There is no middle ground, and there is no hope.

  5. over 13 years ago on Candorville

The simple truth is that there was a well armed and well trained person with a gun there, and he almost shot one of the people who subdued the gunman. Thankfully, he was well trained; I can not be certain that everyone who owns a gun (legally or illegally) is as well trained.

The real issue I see is that, if you do not agree with me, then you are a “nut”. You are an “Anti-Gun” nut, or a “Pro-Gun” nut. This type of labeling goes on and on, and we are teaching our kids that being vitriolic, not trying to see the full picture, and being right is the same as winning.

Obviously, winning is everything, and it doesn’t matter how you get there, it doesn’t matter what you do, what you say or how you act.

The best thing is that Lio always uses proper eye protection gear when performing experiments or using power tools and rocket launchers. I think we could all learn something here.
