Phoebe and Her Unicorn by Dana Simpson for September 09, 2013
Transcript:
Phoebe: What were first days of school like for you? Marigold: Oh, you know how it is. We would all spend the first hour trying to determine whose horn had grown the most, over the summer! This eventually led to a fad for two-foot metal horn extensions. Which might have been a more enduring fad if not for the lightening strikes. Phoebe: We've all been there.
In a way I think humans can relate. We people love to compare the size, height or width of things that grew and use artificial enhancements when possible. Be it that episode of Little house when Lora stuffed her shirt or on MASH when Radar put lifts in his shoes people will always compare. Luckily Unicorns can survive lighting strikes.
