Sluggo: The city has installed new parking meters. Let's go see them.
Nancy: I don't like them. They should have bought some with a more pleasant expression.
In the old days: a nickel for an hour of parking, no need after 6 PM or on Sundays. These days, here in Santa Monica, downtown or by the beach: a buck an hour, sometimes till 9 PM or even 2 AM, and forget about free on Sundays. Yes, Nancy and Sluggo, times really have changed. Thank Goddess for my blue handicap card.
