Monty: If you find any old clothes, put them aside for Goodwill, and... hey! My old "Scooby-Doo" lunchbox! I haven't seen this in years! I wonder what's inside... I .... oh wow. Robot: What is it? Monty: A stuffed toy from my youth! A toy that was once my sole companion and miraculously came to life as an imaginary friend in wondrous, entertaining fantasies! My stuffed weasel, "David Hume"! To be continued!
I always thought Hobbes the tiger was more of a “David Hume” than a “Hobbes”. And Calvin was no Calvin that’s for sure. More like Timothy Leary. Or maybe Calvin was “David Hume” and Hobbes was “Epicurus”.I wonder if Monty and E.B. will find Mr. Pi (AKA Dave) or Chimpy in the attic. Actually, I suspect they live in the basement. I wonder if the zombie character will be living with the rich kid now, or will he be going to the basement, too?
