A question I have always had for those who think we should all be vegetarian: What do we do with all of the animals we would normally eat? If they are not slaughtered, they will continue to breed and eat until they begin starving themselves to death. At the rate domesticated animals can reproduce, there will be an environmental disaster within a few years. If they are left alone, they will consume the crops that humans are using for food very quickly. Couple that with the fact that, if vegetables and grains become humans’ only food source, we will need to expand our farming, meaning more reason to slaughter the animals currently using that land for grazing.Sorry, but declaring everyone should be vegetarian would mean killing even more animals than we do now, at least until their population can be stabilized. Plus, all of that potential food must be wasted. Better to just continue eating meat than killing them unnecessarily.
