Zit: your wrong again as usual. Chrysler said they were increasing hiring here at home, AND increasing EXISTING facilities overseas- closer to their market-where they’re already operating. BTW, Fiat bought into Chrysler, when Daimler Benz backed out of the investment. Ford is an international company, as is GM. Also Dodges are built in Canada, and many Ford cars are built in Mexico, which is why Bush allowed them to change from saying "U.S. Content’ to “North American content” on the “origin labels”.
Which, please note, again, that MItt is saying he wants to make us “energy independent” based on NORTH AMERICAN sources, which means Mexico and Canada as well, NOT just in the 49 states either conterminous, or with oil. Hawaii doesn’t hold much interest for oil, but, hey they’ve got a LOT of sugar cane to make ethanol!!
