Only if all the liberals who have said or done the same thing would do the same. But then, since they are in power why should they? And before someone asks, that would be over half of your party.

Oh, yes, the liberals are in power. nurk nurk. Akin is being attacked by the liberal media. nurk nurk. It’s amazing that you can construct such a complete bubble to protect yourself from truths you want to ignore.

the 3rd paragraph of Article 6 of the US constitution says “no religious test shall ever be required as a Qualification to any Office or public Trust under the United States.” -BUT, the Politically Correct Democratic Party, the PC MSMedia, the leaders of the Always Afraid of PC and the MSM Republican Party, the Liberals and Lefties, all demand a related-to-religion TEST of candidates on the issue of ABORTION.-what Hypocrites the above list prove to be, time after time, and the election votes that elected a party nominee be damned!Missouri voters put 6 term U.S. House member Akin on the ballot, but one sentence spoken in error or bad judgment did it,and the Obama-goons and the MSM jumped on a diversion to hype…..to get voters attention off the serious faults and flaws of Messiah Obama’s words and actions and policies and breaking of the 2008 campaign promises. God Help America!

I have a related-to-religion test for the Republicans. When they adopt the “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you” creed, then I’ll vote for them.

It’s interesting that GOPers on this forum rarely comment on the strip, waiting only to “attack” other commenters, usually displaying their own ignorance, or hypocrisy. It IS just like the general policy of the party.

NOW they’ve turned on one of their own, for espousing EXACTLY what they’ve been touting for a couple decades, especially since THEIR messiah, Reagan, took the scepter of the Pharaoh in his hand.

Article Six btw, was so people would not be challenged for their religion, but also, more specifically, to NOT allow a recurrence of the dominance of the Church of England, or Roman Catholics in other nations, PREVENTING those favoring secular government from serving. This, and the Second Amendment’s first claus, clearly represented a FEAR of Church DOMINANCE in people’s lives, ever happening here. THAT is why the entire RELIGIOUS abortion debate should be moot under the Constitution.

Quakers pay taxes, as do other segments of the “religious community” totally opposed to war, but it certainly hasn’t stopped “the religious” from spending their tax dollars on the tools of war, and spread of death, in support of wealth accumulation, and “keeping the faith” against well, Islam.

masterskrain and eryx…BOTH PARTYs…D and R…have members that proved to be crooks and liars. The reason is partly because all humans are born sinners, and the Liberals have “reformed” public education to eliminate conservative, and biblical teaching of morality and duty and responsibility of the individual that our original education provided, with required history of America and the world.-Congressman Akin has the right to his beliefs, and I suspect his beliefs on the total spectrum of issues are superior to those posting on this website who express continual hate for anyone who disagrees with their viewpoint, and who seem to be calling for demonizing and/or gagging the opposition views.Akin was elected 6 times to the US House. He has a record of voting and conduct in those 12 years in the House. He is clearly not the scandalous charicature presented by these cartoons and by the MSM and the Democrat spokespeople.
